Bud.TV Off To A Very Dry StartWith all the Super Bowl spin to promote its $30 million investment in Bud.TV, Anheuser Busch must now be surely crying in its beer – it’s seeing a little more than 250,000 visitors a month which is a long long way away from the 2 to 3 million it planned on by the end of the year. It is also planning to promote the site with a more aggressive marketing campaign. Part of the problem is the requirement when entering the site to prove the user is of drinking age. The system as it is already turns a lot of people away from registering and on top of that the attorneys general from 23 states have asked that the registration system be made even tougher to keep the underage drinker out.
